And it finally happened a.. FRT.....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Such a cool creature. I sometimes wish I still had mine

Nice FRT. Don't sell him. Odds are you'll regret it and never get the 2nd chance to replace him. I regret selling mine every day.

+1 i regret selling mine

Ugh... this agonizing...I wanted one for a long time too before i finally got him.... He is not working with the rays ( no biting just a lot of stressing) I moved him to a smaller tank now... Maybe I will just give him that tank... Thanks Guys.

Loose the rays keep the FRT. You can get rays any time, an FRT is a rare score.

I agree with Oddball Oddball . I regret selling mine.

What kind of bio load we are talking about here with a FRT in aquarium ?
Pretty big..lol... but when you deal with rays you need big filtration to begin with

I guess so too.
Canister or Sump ? Both may be ?
the tank he was in is a 500 gallon tank with bio tower leading into a classic trickle filter in a 125 gallon sump... this is supplemented with a 130 gallons a day drip system... he is now in a 210 with a moving bed filter with a fx5 and eheim 2262 currently and if he is staying there long term a sump will be added.
