Dovii companion Suggestion

I have a Dovii pair which has spawned thrice , now I have a question.
I have another dovii female in a separate tank.
What are the chances of a successful spawn , if i change the female and the chances the male might hurt the female.
And after that , if I reintroduce the old female , the status quo is disrupted and it ends up killing the old female too...

I think that naturally the males like to switch it up. Could be wrong though. Could go a number of ways for you. My male just recently killed my female. Not the first time it's happened.

I very agree with both brother,mine spawn for two, three time after that male keep attacking the female and I got no choice to separate them, I also dum know why this happen.hope any experience bro help to get me the answer, very much appreciated.

Most of the time it work out for me.
Only once it didn't, ended up losing the female dovii.

Also do you use a divider initially for the male and new female to acknowledge each other or straight away introduce her

No divider, got to let them do their dance, usually within 30 min you will know if it will work or not.

If female won't pair, she will stay at the top and avoid the maie at all cost.

Just personal experience.
