Compact body fh vs. Normal body fh

I hate how badly a lot of pet shops treat fish, usually displaying open disease symptoms which they don't care to treat; or else they house totally incompatible species together, sigh.

Oh yeah it had convicts, fire mouths, and tons various aggressive fish in a small tank. The guy working there knew a lot about cichlids and I asked him why do you keep these together like this half the fish are nipped it and can die from stress and injuries. He goes there is no guarantee on these fish after 48 hours it's up to you. I took her I'm assuming it's a female and put her in a 10 gallon tank and then going to put her in my 30 gallon then introduce her to the male flowerhorn in my 200 gallon.

They had tons of flowerhorn some very very good quality ones and were housed in their own tanks and these were big flowerhorns. I'm assuming since they get them small they don't really care. The guy even told me these are hybrid and man made and he believes the small one is a short body as well. Prices were not high for the larger AAA grade fish. I was going to pick up one but I like the whole process watching them grow up and seeing how the turn out.

how long could a compact body fh get compared to a normal body fh?
i'd say around 9-12 inches but they sort-of look the same as a regular flowerhorn they can grow to about the same size but there growth is slowed or hauled due to its body disorder just like the short-bodied flowerhorn. anyway if you were to pick one i'd go for the regular cause you know what they say bigger is better. goodluck :)

Depends on the tank size too bigger can be worse in fish lol now I don't know what to do with my bonsai short body looking FH because it's been two weeks he's grown half in inch vertically lol he's not aggressive what so ever I bet you a goldfish will bully him. I need to sell this when it gets 2-3 inches in my 10 gallon. I can't put it in with my other fish
