I just can't read 120 pages of ppl opinion, let's have a percentage where we can see some results
I fell unsure about voting, as I have not owned any of those fish apart from my pink convict and he's only a baby, so my vote would be based on others opinion and things I've read or watched,
will be intresting to see the votes though and hear of people's thoughts on previous experience etc

Thug and gangster? Convict 100% nome of the other species has the balls convicts have at their size. Most aggressive? Mota,Dovii IMO. Red Devils are more bully IME, but can kill just as easy as dovii or mota
Honestly it depends on the fish. The red devil didn't get its name for no reason so I picked that. Mine killed texas, red devils, midas, Convicts ( Male 4-5 inch), Vieja and more. When he bred he killed everything in my tank. I wasn't even home at that time I was away and my wife would not even attempt to take him out nor did I let her. He made me bleed on numerous occasions. 18 inch monster.
Now hes fine he got a little older (5 years later) and is somewhat a bully to the females.
My list for most aggressive are
-Red Devil/Midas (most are mixed anyways)
-Flowerhorns ( Hybrid of trimac/midas/red devil)
-Texas
then everything else.

From his head to the end of his tail hes 18 inches
This picture is maybe 3 years old but hes grown a little from it. I've had this fish for at least 6 years and got him maybe at 6-7 inches. Hes very long hes a mix like most are of the red devil.
His tail is at least 2-3 inches
Also hes a Male and thats his mate an albino red devil. Was surprised he was male never vented but clearly he was the father. 8 batches of fry! He killed that white devil after the 8th spawn.
Dang! That's one damn big red devil, long as lots of male Jaguars, probably whip them too
Yeah hes super big guy not thick surprisingly just very long and hardy guy. Hes old but puts down. Heres a recent video of him kicking the living crap out of my Green texas. Hes a huge Texas so was surprised he wanted to fight my red devil which is even bigger!
This video was right after I introduced the Male texas into the tank. He got beaten up and after I took him out they became docile. He knows now the red devil will always be the alpha lol.
