Glad they made the trip now good luck with them.

Okay, so I got home from the store, and notice my sturgeons were doing a death spirals. I thought that they were hungry and then they dropped the the bottom for the grow out tank. I thought the O2 was low so I moved them with my livebearers and they started to resume back to their normal activity. I quickly lowered the tank to around 75 degrees, which is still a lil too warm but I think it will be okay for now and added a air hose to my power head and added an extra air pump. I slowly moved them into a bag and place a battery air pump to supply o2 for them as they acclimate back into their tank. I then moved them in an they are started to move around but a resting. I am waiting to see how this turns out, but it looks like they will be find. I think when I topped off the tank I used warm water and it made the water warm and depleted the o2, and that is what caused themr to do that.

So,you lowered the tank to 75 degrees well what was the temp before doing that?

Okay, so the smaller one out of the 2 started to swim around more. He is moving across the bottom and sides like he used to do. The larger one is still laying on the bottom but he will sort of scoot to another spot and rest. They are clearly stress but it looks like the smaller one is the faster one to recover.

78 degrees, when I got home. After I topped off the tank the water was around 80 degrees. I can get the tank down to 70, but 75 was the quickest I could get it down to, so I went with that for them for now. I will try to slowly get the tank down to 70, and winter is coming soon so the tank will be in the low 70s

Sounds good.

Okay, so the larger one is becoming more active, while the little one it swimming like is use to which is a good thing. I am in the process of lowering the tank to the lower 70s.

Alright, so it appears they smaller one is searching for food, but the larger one is still resting but making attempts to swim around. I've gotten the tank to be around 73.4 degrees and trying to get it to be 70 degrees. They are both stressed but they seem to be recovering, but I'm believe that I will be okay when I see them both actively swimming and eating. I will try to maintain water in the lower 70s, but I will not be home this week so the water may get up to 78-80 degrees, but I can lower it down so I should hopefully be fine.
