Hey guys so I currently have 3 Hujeta Gars that are around 3-4inches in a planted 75 gallon tank. I want to add some tank mates, but I am not sure what to go with. I have thought about things like African Butterfly, Delhezi, Clown Loach, Bush fish and even some different Geophagus. I was most interested in the Geophagus, but changed my mind as I do not want to do something that can mess my plants up. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks so much!

I would not go with the butterfly fish it would probably get bullied and put off its food and slowly starve, sorry to say I have had them in the past so know what im talking about from my personal experience. I would go for a fish which occupies the middle to bottom levels maybe a fire track eel or a Bichir or Oscars.
a hujeta gar is not going to bully a butterfly fish. just sayin.'
mine where never bullied in a 150 with polys, loaches, bush fish and a syno cat.
really oh mine must of been scared but the gars are in a pack and its their territory that is being invaded because both hang out in the surface?
Input is always appreciated. You may just have an aggressive group due to a mob mentality. No worries. Mostly all rocket gars are push overs.
