After a 3 year hiatus from the planted tank game, I had an itch to start back up. Nothing fancy, just a 20G long in my work office. The first picture is of the beautiful 55G low-tech tank I had set up back in 2013. The 2nd picture is of the planted tank I will now be working on/with. I hope to do monthly updates on plant growth/progress.

New 20G Long. I know it's not much yet, but I'm quite confident I can develop it in to a beautiful tank (in due time).

Great foundation, look forward to seeing it progress!

I'm finding I'm more into plants and aquascaping these days, bombed the tank with plants recently!

Think I'm gonna get my hands on a 20 long like yours, see if I can do a planted convict set up!

Really good looking set up!

I'll do an update on my 20G in another week or two. Since my first post, I've upgraded lighting and added Co2. Have also added a number of other plants that should hopefully take off soon. The centerpiece will be an absolutely stunning male Electric Blue Acara. He's currently in quarantine just to make sure he acclamates appropriately. His colors are insane!

Here's the 3" male EB Acara that will be going into the planted tank in two weeks. He's currently in quarantine with 6 Red Serpae Tetras. His color is ridiculous. Can't wait to see what he looks like under T5HO.

Little update on the 22.5 gallon, with some Sumatran driftwood and two small fancy goldfish.

Debating adding plants to this, or maybe just some anubias.

Using tetra safe start on this tank, will monitor carefully

Update* Started EI dosing this week with dry ferts. Growth has been exploding as of late. Can't wait for the S. Repens and Dwarf Sagittaria to carpet the entire front half of the tank.

What's the other fish in the back top right with the EBA? Looks like a gourami or paradise fish of some sort? Be careful with the S. repens, for whatever reason I hear a lot of people have issues where after they get it to carpet and look nice it decided to melt on them for practically no reason other than to give them a big FU (shrug).
