Resealing my 240Gal.

I'm a fan of the momentive rtv-103 silicone that is black. Looks black when filled, black silicone looks way cleaner than clear imo.

I would also only use momentive rtv silicone either 103 for black or 108 for clear. I just resealed my 210 this summer and all looks good.

That was the black silicone I used. Black when dried, but kinda look brown when the tank was filled...

OK. So I bought dap 100% silicone at Menards today. It says 100% silicone and it has nothing on the package that says anything about mold resistance. Is this okay? They don't have any black GE silcone 1 in my local hardware stores. I could always order online if I had too.

As for filming it along the way here below is the exact method I am going to follow. I am not going to film just because I have never done it before and am bound to screw up if I am doing 2 things at once and no need since I am replicating the film linked below.

 
that is a great DIY vid, all the basses covered, go by that and you be fine.

So I finally finished the sealing and it held up great. Followed the movie and it wasn't hard at all. Recommend for anyone. Very easy.
