Cruisin the inter web and came across this Giant Isopod (bathynomus giganteus) by happens chance. Thought it was cool and I thought people like to see cool stuff! Here ya go...

I actually have a relatively small one of those- dead and preserved, of course. They have needle-sharp hooks on their front legs for grabbing onto things, and they kinda look like they'd eat your face.
They're cute, though.

I read about these isopods...they attach to their hosts tongue...yeah, their freaking tongue.

Cymothoa exigua. Cymothoa exigua, or the tongue-eating louse, is a parasitic crustaceanof the family Cymothoidae. This parasite enters fish through the gills, and then attaches itself to the fish's tongue.
