My 2nd flowerhorn. sharing n trying to identify.

Just got this nice specimen for my LFS. Got him for $16 bucks. Not a bad pick up, but very young to tell if it's going to have a nice kok. Color looks awesome. I also have a Thai silk in a community tank with my Jardine.

Please tell me what specific type of FH he is. Thanks.

Very good pickup, She is colorful..

Well, looking at flower at her dorsal fin, she looks she.. and the mouth is thin and long is basically a feature of the female one..

I like the total red and bit yellow/white color on her, the straight and solid flowerline makes her a beauty queen.. Please upload more picture as she grows.. Good luck if you want her to mate with Thai (if he is he!)..

Also, this one is from ZZ family..

Looks female but look at its protruding tube. Looks like a males tube. I agree the dorsal that's darkened is a sign of a female but might be a male.
