Is There Anything Exciting To House In a 4 Feet Tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Another theme I've seen but never tried, is the half land half water set-up, looks seriously cool; means you could possibly house small shoals of fish, with reptiles that occupy the land part

I think you might be talking about a paludarium, definitely a neat idea, and if planned correctly can be a lot of joy to run and maintain especially if you can find animals to occupy both the land and water protions of the tank...

If OP wants to keep it as just either water or land though, then i would possibly recommend a puffer for a fishtank...

A lungfish. They get big but don't need much space. They become actual pets that will come and beg you to hand feed then. I have a lot of fun with mine.

what about spiny eels, peacocks and zigzags with cory on the bottom, some nandus leaf fish and tiger barbs in the middle and butterfly fish on the surface

or what about clouded archerfish with some of the tank having a cricket area with branches and plants so they can shoot em off!-)

+1 on Palundarium with mudskippers, or an African biotope with eg. butterfly fish, synodontis cats, climbing perch/leopard leaf fish, Congo tetras etc, check compatibility and size.
