16 Year Old Clown Loaches Stunted Growth?

Yeah, I'd agree that seems slow imo.

Same here. Just tossing out variables that I've seen/noticed. And on the topic of nitrates, I am constantly battling them. I am rarely if ever below 10ppm. And since this topic got me thinking of growth rates, I went through some pics on my phone looking at dates. I picked up two 2"ers on 8/14/14. One I rehomed to my mother and is currently about 3" (about the same size as when i gave it to her 6-8 months ago). The one I kept I would estimate at a solid 4"+.

Equipped with it's own filtration. It's an old custom built tank and when I say "hidden" I'm saying it was an actual display tank but is just in a corner of the store where people don't regularly go. Next trip I'll get some pics of it.
