Do you have any idea how pissed I was when I read they shot that alligator instead of pinning it with a medal????
It definitely did not deserve to die....not like it wandered into someone's backyard and ate them.
only reason they gave for shooting it was the sheriff diver's claimed "it swam aggressively towards them". I'm sorry, but if an 11 foot gator was swimming aggressively towards me I'd bend over and kiss my ass goodbye...I'm definitely not outswimming it lol.
No,you definitely wouldn't outswim it...and I guess that's as good an excuse as any to kill the gator.
ya but THEY didn't shoot it haha. they called the CO's in to trap and euthanize it.
In all reality I get it, an 11 ft gator killed and ate half a man, naturally he's close enough to a populated area that the guy took refuge in the same pond, but damn relocate that ancient critter to the middle of the everglades....or hire him at the station.
Right,so it was swimming aggressively towards someone so they take the time to call someone else to deal with it?....why not just relocate the beast and lol @hire him at the station.
I want to say it's common practice to kill any gator over a certain size in Florida as the population is striving to the point they release hunting permits. Why relocate it? Waste of time and money. They're not endangered species.
Why do a lot of things the governments do? lol My point was mainly as a joke seeing as he took a POS petty crook off the streets for us lol
I hope they at least have the decency to donate the gator meat to a food bank
