I know this has been brought up before. However I am looking to replace what I thought was "best bang for your buck" the Pondmaster Ap 100...... Had one fail today in the same way others have in the past so looking for something else - something maybe a little more reliable? I replaced the AP 100 with a 100 lpm Jehmco Linear Piston and it seems to do the same job of boiling the reactor ALONG with the discs in the tank just as well as the 2 pumps being run together.
Maybe the rating "system" can be manipulated? Maybe we aren't comparing apples to apples? There's talk of Jehmco "conservatively" rating pumps.
Been looking at Jehmco Linear Piston, then thought why not the diaphragm ones (more air)? 220 LPM!?!?
Anyone have either of these? Any recommendations along these specs???
