Sounds cruel, but these fish are eaten in other parts of the world.

I know it's difficult to eat fish you raised yourself, but I think it's better to eat them than to let them suffer a life as stunted predator in a far too small tank..

I might get some hate for this, but... well, I'm just saying what I think.

But, as you were told before, it is always better to do dome research on the animals you want, before you buy them.

Lol no I won't eat them although catfish is very tasty. I am going to upgrade to much bigger tanks. My 100 gallon has gar in it so for the time being they will have to stay were they are for now. O I also have piranhas in a 55 too
 
Get an Arapaima while your at it! Monsterfishkeepers right lol

Jokes aside those tanks shouldn't even be house for one of your species to be honest with you.

Also welcome to this site. I hope these negative comments you take with a grain of salt but listen these fish should not be kept in those tanks under no circumstances. It's like shoving you in a closet to live in you wouldn't like that would you?

By much bigger tanks you need to spend thousands on a nice aquarium. Min I would say 1000 gallon tank on these guys.

All the negative comments aside its only short term I am going to upgrade for all of them to live more comfortably. It's a passion I love them like children
 
When you hit post reply there is a tab on right that says "Upload a file" just hit that.
I'm glad you're going to upgrading. This is precisely why I only have a 200 gallon and keep fish that hit max a foot long. I wanted an Arowana but I knew later down the line I wouldn't be happy with myself keeping it in a small tank.

You are getting good advice above, imho.

If you will, please, ask more specific questions because simply naming a fish and citing a tank size and asking for tips opens up a room for a long-winded and perhaps even unnecessary lecture.
