Yea all I did was cut out two sections of egg crate and layed them over the braces of the tank. I just shoved the pothos through the holes and they've held up fine so farI'm looking to do this in my new gar tank. I figured it would look pretty cool having them hover in the roots. So you just layed egg crate on top and stuck the plants into it?
Haha thanks. It's 78x30x31. Weird dimensions but I got a good deal on it.What are the Demensions on this tank? Love it!
I found them in Home Depot. From my understanding most of those big chain stores with a gardening section seem to have it.Nice tank, I'll be trying this with suction cup planters soon; have heard great things so it'll be great to try, I take it pothos is pretty easy to find?
My red hooks don't really know what to make of it. They're kind of scared of the roots since they sway a bit in the current.Im surprised your silver dollars (red hooks? hard to tell) don't eat the pothos. I've added pothos in the past and they are gone in a matter of hours.
Hardware stores and garden stores got these. Pretty common plant . but the trick isNice tank, I'll be trying this with suction cup planters soon; have heard great things so it'll be great to try, I take it pothos is pretty easy to find?
