I've read they max out at 18" curious to see if that is accurate. They are fin nippers though, wouldn't leave my lungfish alone so I got rid of it.

update. Measured at 17" this morning. Almost at that 18" max.

Seeing as this fish isn't 10-20+ years old, it's going to grow past 18 imo. Last month it was 16" this month it's 17", a fish that's grows to around 18" wouldn't still be growing an inch a month normally.

Agreed it's gonna keep growing, was this from rapps?
How long you had it and what's the growth over that period?

First measurement wasn't accurate more of an estimate. I was able to get a good measurement today. But I think it'll get bigger than 18". Guess we'll find out.

This fish was from rapps. It was 12" when I got it a little over a year ago.
