I have a 75 gallon with a 20 gallon sump turning over nearly 700 GPH. I currently have some juvi central and South American cichlids, but I am just not satisfied with it . I know this is generally a silly, endless question but what else is everyone doing with their 75s? Something that doesn't get boring? Maybe some sort of oddball. Idk just trying to think of some things. Thanks.

Can we see a pic of the tank? Maybe you should try something new that you've never kept before. That usually ignites the spark for me.

I will get a picture tomorrow. That's kinda what I am going for though. I have always done sa/ca cichlids...

Go aquascaping...or marine fish dare I say?

This.

I got super bored of my all cichlid/single fish tank, since then I've ventured more into scaping communities, and imo its very rewarding, could be a really good option to consider.

With smaller fish as well, it'll make the 75 look massive, I always found cichlids made even my large tanks seem small and cramped.

I recommend barbs. Active, mischievous and playful; similar in entertainment to cichlids.

I have been thinking about maybe going with "mini monsters" such as African butterfly fish, nandus nandus, she'll dwelling cichlids, something to that effect.

The only thing I dislike with my 75 is it's too small but the wife won't let me have bigger.
