Need Help Leveling A Petco Brooklyn Metal Stand!

Hey guys I just setup a Petco Brooklyn 55 gallon metal stand for my 40 gallon long and the way it sits in my apartment the front water in the tank is higher than the back? I made sure the measurements from the floor to my tank were 30 1/4" all around. It has adjustable feet. But I'm not sure what I should do to adjust it? Suggestions please! Also my sponge filter keeps floating to the top of tank any idea why?

Adjust the feet if possible. Otherwise, some wedges will level it off. Might be easier with an empty tank or less water.

Squeeze out the air in the sponge filter in the water...it'll go down.

Appreciate it guys. I had to drain the tank but I left 2 gallons in. Then i removed the tank and adjusted the feet. Through trial and error I got it as good as possible.
