My long haired General decided she wanted the front room decorating and that i couldnt just paint round the tank, so yesterday i drained the tank put livestock in 2x 80L tubs with filter media and a bubbler moved the tank forward, stripped the wall, undercoated it, today i am putting 2 coats of topcoat on moving the tank back refilling then fish back in. suppose i should be happy its a 180 gal not a monster tank some of you have.

Lol, I varnished my floor around my 300... Can't move the 300 without a lever, it's almost glued to the stand somehow, actually dreading moving house as it's gotta go back out the window which took 6 men last time!!!

I have only a 120, but I even that would be a bit on a chore to move around. Hopefully I'm not asked to move mine in the near future! I have been thinking about new carpet however...

Lol only a 120, only a 180...

I've got a 92, and people are shocked at the size of it, anything upwards of 75 is pretty massive lol; especially anything in the 100's!

And yet my 180 still seems too small....

I put new flooring throughout my house recently. I spent more time draining, moving and filling tanks than I spent putting down flooring.

People who come over my fathers house see a 180 in the house. They get amazed and always go it looks awesome. He shows them his garage and his 500 and 800 gallon tanks are there. They immediately go on snapshot or take pics, selfies and etc.

I used to think my 10 gallon tank was massive but I was like 8 and I was coming from a 1.5 gallon tank lol

I have my 150 and 135 gallon tanks in my living room. They are the reason I hAve been putting off painting and new carpet lol!
