Hello,

I have a baby Silver Arowana in 55G growout tank. I also have two ID sharks babies too. I'm gonna be getting 2 motoros in next two weeks. I have a 270G; 24H, 36D, 72L.

Right now my ID shark will stay in a corner, and I would like to have more tankmates but I'm not sure. I'm thinking on:

Peacock Bass; How many would you suggest?
Ornate Bichir ; Will it be good with the rays?
RTC; I really like this fish but Silver Arowana and Rays are my main fish and I would hate them to be eaten by the RTC.
severums or red belly pacu; will it pick on the Silver?
Should I leave the ID Sharks?

Thanks!

Oh ya I see hmm u want mainly one group to dominate top and bottom if u really don't want to injure any fish I think u should just keep rays at bottom unless u want bichirs then put hiding spots but I wouldn't risk it. As for peacocks maybe 2 or 3 not too many overcrowd but still want a semi school. I don't think RTC good idea cause u mainly like ur aro and stingray don't risk and then as for the ID sharks up to u I'm not super sure on them. Also Severus and red belly I don't really like so that's up to u but I wouldn't go for it I think lots of space a some fish is the ways to go have a balance how many aro and how many rays? Also do u want more variety of fish or a stable grouping of some fish

Thanks for your opinion sir!

So I don't want to house more than a pair of rays and 1 single aro...

I have the ID just because, but I don't think I'll keep them. Peacock looks like the best option for me too!

What other would you recommend if you don't like packs or serverurs. I'm not really looking for variety I just want a stable nice looking group of fish.

Thanks!

Actually severing won't be too bad as long they fine with the peacock less peacock more severums if u even out or u could replace severums for silver dollars large ones and a big group at least 5 up to u nice severums won't be bad just put some hide spots hope this turns out nice

I think in a tank of somewhat aggressive monster fish like arowana, pbass and motoro, severums would get their ass kicked to next wednesday. they're already relatively peaceful cichlids, plus they are only like 1/3 of the size of everything else in the tank.

What would you suggest then? I'm looking for ideas :D

I wouldn't put motoros in the tank because chances are they are outgrowing it sooner rather than later, just my opinion.
