They mainly eat algaemax but because I have a convict with them I was also feeding them nls cichlid pellets a couple times a week.
I think it was too meaty for them and it caused premature deaths. I haven't lost any other of my ruby barbs since I really upped the amount of veggies they get and limit the amount of fish-based proteins they get.
