Good camera angle for a surface-dwelling fish.
Any chance we can get a video of him being a tiny predator and attacking tasty things? Maybe some mysis shrimp, or a housefly if any are available?

Hhhmmm, I will try. I'm training him on pellets, but definitely plan to expand to krill, shrimp and crickets.

I'll try when I get a chance with blood worms. He does attack that like the predator he is and runs the tank...LOL
 
The little guy made it through it's first 3 days in the 260G. I'm continuing to train on the pellets. Aside from frozen blood worms, I decided to drop in some Hikari dried blood worms. I don't think/know if it's as nutricious as the frozen, but it floats so just another option.

Any luck getting it on pellets? I picked one up around the same size two weeks ago and finally got it on Hikari cichlid gold. Can't wait for it to get bigger.

Nice, Siddons11. I started with Hai Feng pellets, since the pellets are smaller than typical Hikari. It's been on the pellets since the first day (~3 weeks now). Started out about 4 pellets/feeding, and, it around 8-10 average now. I also throw in frozen and dried bloodworms for snack. I gave him a quarter piece of krill the first time last night and it chomped on it. I thought he was going to choke, but he's all good...LOL. Give it a try.

I'll be adding the Hikari sticks too...I have a bag left from last year.

excellent!!! and nice house decor, never work in my house. that piano have busted keys and not going bring up the lighting array.
