And this is why I wont keep Rays anymore unless they're in a dedicated tank. I lost 4 fish in 3 years all due to rays tagging them.

Thanks guys... sadly he was no longer breathing when I got home from work... pulled him out and he was a full 12 inches... kinda sucks but its the game we play when we keep rays with norms...
Honestly they have been together a couple years and no issues until now... there are 13 other clowns in there all 6 inch and above. the only thing I will say is this loach in particular had recently been bugging the rays when they were eating (they usually kinda just wait for crumbs) but he kept constantly hanging on the rays waiting for food... so I think overall it was an accident.
that's a tough loss to take, rarely see magnificent clowns at that size.
Sorry man. I wasnt trying make it seem like he was already a goner just sucks to see that happen.
So my question to all ray keepers here for the benefit of new potential ray keepers, if ray can tag a fish with this sharp tail sting can they tag your hand as well while doing maintain enece and cleaning etc ? If yes then what the remedy or cure any particular medication ?
Run your hand under the hottest water you can safely handle and pray for forgiveness
