Last summer I was lucky to score a 12" female Odoe and since then I have kept an eye out for more to build a group, sadly all I've really seen have been tiny around 1-2".

I have just put a deposit down on five larger young fish, 4-5".
They are feeding on live river shrimp.

So, once I get these Odoe I will feed them on river shrimp that have been gut loaded with flake and carnivore pellets.

Any tips on breaking the Odoe onto dead food? I expect it may take a while!

Thanks everyone.

Mine took to krill within about two days but the outtake of my filter makes water movement at the top so it pushed the krill around as it floated, I assume this played a role in how fast he took it.

I have a lot of surface flow at one end of the tank, the rest of the pump outlets are midwater and one just above the substrate.

I'll grab some frozen krill and see how I get on, fingers crossed

The krill should be easy too since itll look similar, then they'll start accepting it readily and you can try other things from there once they're off of live.
