Yep. They're one of the rarer/harder to find crenicichla out there. They're one of the largest if not the largest. Lucanus reports seeing a 2 foot one while snorkeling.

Thanks man. Yeah they've got the 300 to play in once they get big enough to play with the big boys. Well they'll go to a 125 then the 300. The head and body shape is probably the best thing about these guys for me. Especially the head shape is what does it for me. I really do enjoy these guys

They're around 5 or so inches or more. They're awesome. Can't get enough of the long snout. Are yours on pellets?
