Anyone know the rules around bringing fish from Canada into the US

I looked all over and can find nothing about rays being illegal in NYC. I know Ball Pythons, Piranha, Ferrets and to my surprise Iguana's are just a few animals illegal in NYC but can find no mention of Stingrays.

By the way great thread. I've often wondered myself about getting fish from Below. So how much do I have to grease your palm to bring me back somethin' nice. :D

What are you eyeing up? I think some of those Leporinus Brunneus and Congicus bichers are coming back with us...

It is a newer law and it is only the city and 5 boroughs

I've shipped fish to canada a few times. I just had to fill out a form and have my mom sign. Never brought them from the Canada to the US

Like your style. Those Brunneus are sweet lookin'. The Congicus are hard to find state side? Toyin can't get them? Just curious because my thing with Below is Oliver's ability to get some pretty rare fish.

I'm unfortunately not on his mailing list so don't know what he currently has though. If he had a Creni CF. Jegui I'd love to get my hands on one of those little mean SOB's. Or Creni Multispinosa would make for a sweet pick up. Asked Jeff about getting Multi's but he's pretty much against it because he took a beating on them last time he had them. Haven't asked Wes though.

I'm going to have to really research that. Not that I doubt you but I love Rays and while I don't have any now I was hoping in the near future to really put an effort into getting some Mini Marbles. So it would totally suck if that's true and I have to make sure because I don't want the dream to die before it starts.

I spoke with fish and wildlife today it is a NYC ordinance that there are no stingrays to be brought in.
