^ to be very honest, im still a little undecided...

I saved about 30+ CRS from the accident, so they will most likely go back in, but not sure if i want to keep focusing strictly on shrimp in this tank???

As for scaping, tank will definitely be planted again, just debating what type of plants i want to use, especially for the carpeting plant, since not sure i can be bothered planting and maintaing HC again, even though it does look sweet...

Was playing around with some of the wood, but am kinda brain dead after a day at the office...

Still not 100% sure what i want to do either which probably doesnt help... So anyone got good links / videos to look at for ideas???

Tom Barr's tanks are all stunning. Here's one of his that's absolutely ridiculous. This would be a really cool layout, assuming you can find some unique Manzanita Wood like this. There are a few solid online retailers that sell good size pieces of Manzanita. FYI- The Picture does NOT belong to me.

Are you going the classic Amano set up? I tried planted some time ago and found that the combination of dull stock and having to trim the plants frequently took a lot of wind out of my sails, but I like big fish and I'm lazy when it comes to messing around inside the tank. I was limited to a 20 gallon though, I'm not sure how big this tank is.

Not sure about plants, but I highly recommend.e white cloud mountain minnows.

Very common, but overlooked IMO, especially in dedicated aquascaping set-ups.

When I was a kid, I would see white clouds often at lfs, but nowadays, I rarely ever see them any more....in my area anyways

i guess im just looking for inspiration atm...

That Tom Barr tank that Manu8 posted is pretty sweet and looks like something similar to what i kind of want to try...

Right at this moment im sort of leaning towards maybe doing a sort of tree trunk(ish) sort of style scape with rocks, and planting an assortment of plants around the base of the wood and maybe carpet around the rocks similar to that Tom Barr tank but different lol...

Lol,you seem really hooked on white clouds atm??? But yeah, still not 100% sure i will add fish to this tank untill i maybe get a shrimp colony going again???

Then again, if the shrimp colony doesnt bounce back i may just switch up and try something else...

Yeah lol. Its more because I was leaning towards wild green neons, but found that the white clouds look just as nice, and tougher.

Are you going to add CO2?
