There definitely will be some stunners out of the group you got. Partition is the key to getting the KOK to pop out. Great buy.

Yeah soon in a month I will be putting the little
Guys in a 40 gallon tank and selling off the vieja and Midas to make room for these guys lol

Look at his kok now... Sorry really bad pic

This is the second day. Wow these flowerhorns are popping kok every time I put one in a divider. They get aggressive and hormones kick in. I wish I had like 10 additional tanks for the two dozen fish lol I would separate each one.

Getting some size on them. So I have on the other side some females and a pot tray against the divider. A female is now attempted to breed through the divider to one or both the males lol her tube is swollen and digging everything close to her "home." I wish I had the space for them to breed but I don't I lost one fry due to aggression as it is.

They're aggressive against each other but when I introduced them they were fine they actually are very peaceful together

So another update the picture above where I thought they were both male well I was wrong. The green pearl one is a female and the red one is a male. I partitioned both of them at first and let them together only due to space issues and they didn't fight so I kept them together. Well they are spawning now and her tube is dropped.

On the other side of the divider I had 4 of some males and females and I was down to just to 1 female. I do water changes daily on this tank and water is perfect for growth and feed them 3 times a day.

Well the small little female spawned I had a pot tray against the divider and she laid eggs. The other side they are spawning as well.

A holding tank became a breeding ground. I hope the male fertilized her eggs lol but I'm doubtful that he did since hes with his lady friend already.

The green pearl female showed no signs of being female. Kok popped no dorsal black and is huge compared to other females.

The last pic is the one of many females I have small dorsal black but she is showing her breeding dress she's never that dark. Also the pot tray you can see all the eggs in there.

20 Midas/6 vieja/ 24 flowerhorns all in a 40 gallon sump lol all fry though ranging from half an inch to 3 inches.

I did have 6 of them like in the picture in another tank but they all were fighting like crazy especially the two big ones for dominancy.
I am pretty stoked I finally got some really nice fry I can grow out.

Pictures do not do any justice on these the pearls are insane even the 1 inch ones. I'll keep you guys updated.
That's lot of fresh in 60 gallions
