what else could i stock in my 55 gal???

i have a 55 gallon with the following stocked
1 angel fish
1 firemouth
1 sengal bichir
2 blue acara
1 festive
and getting these next week
1 rainbow
1 t bar
so after getting those could anything else go in there maybe some dither fish like Columbian tetra and I really like earth eaters so maybe a small earth eater could go in there??? any advice is appreciated

I think you're pretty filled up as it is. I think the Festivum and Rainbow cichlids are best kept in groups but I haven't kept them before.

oh okay well my lfs said they would be alright alone but ask them again and I think I have found a good earth eater and its called the red hump earth eater, would that work in there aswell?

I advise against adding anything else into your tank. I know you don't want to hear this because I've been in your shoes before but it is the right thing to do. Also the fish store that said that a rainbow will be fine alone in that tank is just trying to get money from you. Honest stores are very rare.

okay okay I will just wait and be patient until I get the tropical pond but what if a swapped the rainbow with 1 red hump earth eater?

Yeah I know, but you need to stock the tank keeping the adult sizes in mind. And those are all cichlids so they need territory.

does it I swear it gets around 13 cm which is the same as a rainbow?
