JAG X TEXAS + OSCAR

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah I saw that I was thinking about picking up the Oscar.....
Get the Jag as well and donate it to a local pet shop. It's better to have it there then the owner.

Yeah I wanted to message him what the heck happened to them but didn't want to bother to know the back story.

I'd do it if I was in the area. I'm very much not in the area.

I wish I could but I'm trying to get rid of my big fish to get an arowana and rays for my 200 gallon tank.

I might message him to just donate the fish to this store trop aquatics is a lfs and known to cure fish especially oscars. They had like a 16 inch monster that came in with hith and while it was quarantined and being treated someone bought it. They wanted it bad and was going to treat it themselves

This is my lfs donations for today lol

You think this pisses you off. Wait until you work in the pet store and see people buy red tail catfish, pacu, tiger shovel nose, peacock bass, dovii and other tank busters for a 10 gallon tank. While the sales person tell them it is a bad idea they get lippy and tell the sales to bag the fish because that is what they are paid to do. I feel bad for these fishes and upsets me to see them in such poor health. Hopefully some good smaratan pick them up and nurse them back to health.

tell me about it. i worked at a lfs for almost two years. working there left the biggest chip on my shoulder.

Fairly good store! I just moved from Lombard like 6 months ago. A lot of my equipment and fish came from there. I like to support the family owned stores when I can.

Nope that's the only one I know of that's close. Other than them there is aquarium adventure in Schaumburg and Bolingbrook. If you are ever around kedzy and 115th in Chicago there is another nice store called animal krackers by the jewel.

I've said for years the shops of the Chicagoland area were weak, the last of the good ones went out a few years back, I go to wisconsin for shops worth my time, and again the majority of the good ones are gone....I actually went to aquatics unlimited yesterday...
