Can Dovii eat chicken?

Yes. They eat chicken, hogs, cattle, horse; basically any traditional farm animals work. In their native waters, their diet largely consists of poultry, but will settle for vermin, etc. The key however, is to make sure to put the whole chicken in the tank and not even bother with providing smaller segments. Also, they shouldn't be kept in anything larger than 20G, despite what some people say.

Generally fish don't process land animal based proteins very well and can lead to problems down the road
