Hi folks,

I would like to start a whole new tank with a new aro from beginning.

I've plan to purchase:

- 4ft x 2ft x 2ft tank
- Filter
- Heater
- thermometer
- Oxygen pump

Hope all sifus able to answer my questions:

Do I need circulator for aeration?
Do I need a larger tank for long run? I think to get Golden Xback or super red

What is full bacterial/Ammonia cycle for a tank?

Google the nitrogen cycle for aquarium you NEED to let the filter run for several weeks to get good bacteria build up to combat the ammonia the fish will produce etc...

Can you please teach on tank cycle?

You need some sort of filter and just need to let it run. Seems like your from a different country so you have either have your test strip and maybe your lfs can check for you the water to see if the levels are fine to add fish.

That foot print for tank is too small for a full size arow

Hi,Im from Malaysia

I get what you mean now. put some fishes into the new tank for 1/2 months before proceed with the arowana. after that, test on the water for ammonia and ph levels

Exactly. Also, baby aros do much better in smaller tanks.
