The plumbing isnt cemented just a mock up.

The length of plumbing from thw drain to the sump sags. I put a 4inch peice of pvc to hold it up but would like something more secure. I saw a few pics of what looks like a metal stap screwed into the stand that supports it does anyone know what its called ?

Waiting for the sock holder to be delivered the ties arent permanent

Also i noticed you have female threaded unions. They make slip x slip unions that are way easier to install than the threaded ones

I cut a 4x4 block, then used two of what Dixon showed. I screwed the block to underneath the 3/4" the tank sits on. I also used some heavy duty double sided tape to attach the wood block fir additional stability. It ain't going anywhere.

If you still just want to use a strap that should be fine but I'd just use plastic ones. They are plenty strong and are fine if they get wet.

I know but the lowes and HD near me didnt have any slip x slip but lesson learned with this build. Next sump will definitly be more thought out.

Thx for the wood suggestion that seems easy enough. I was just worried about somehow affecting the integrity of the stand.

That's what I used, its not as nice looking as the PVC hanger but it works.

having gone through your situation I knew what you meant jaws. They also make plastic ones that are strong enough too.

Ok cool if they have the plastic ones i'll pick them up. Lowes and hd suck though

I noticed my avatar also had the picture of the white block of wood with support braces in the top right corner. Terrible angle but that's how it sits.

they have the metal and plastic pipe hanging straps as well as the pipe hanging hooks. All are cheap and easy options. I have also just used a zip tie in the past...just hang it from a small screw or nail mounted horizontally in the wooden cross brace under your stand
