my green terror is an estimated 1 year and 4 months old (i added on 5 months from the time i had him at 2 inches figue it took around 5 months to get from fry to 2 inches, thats a roundabout i guess).(had him for 11 mo) hes 9 inches as some of you know.

he doesnt really have a nuchal hump yet so my question is in your experience owning these fish around what age do they dovelop a prominent nuchal hump?.

please share your experiences.

thank you

You can't really put an age to it.I have a large male around the same age as yours and he has no hump.He is the only male in the tank.If I were to have more than one male in this tank, chances are the most dominant one would show a decent sized nuchal hump.
I do however have 5 females and one of them has developed a nuchal hump. She seems to be the most dominant female in the tank.
So what I am trying to explain is,it's not about age it's about dynamics and dominance.
I,for one hope my male never develops one,I think they are ugly and ruin the look of the fish.

doesn't genetics also play a part in it?

Yes.It has to.Not all species get one.
For those that do,size is affected by other factors like dominance.
