ya, after your food is done brush the grill, every thing that falls off burns up in the left over charcoal bed, close it up, ready for next time. This with cast iron grates, once seasoned they easy to keep cleaned up,
good to know, last summer we picked up a charcoal kit for our BBQ. Aparently all Nepolean grills get a free part replacement after I believe 5 years, ours was pretty much completely replaced last year. If anyone else has one it's definitely something to look into

cover it the next day when cool, pull the old charcoal/ash next time you go to use it. I have a barrel smoker, charcoal/wood sit in a adjustable tray that you pull out and dump into a trash bag, I do power wash it from time to time, its made of stainless.

tried smoking in the gas grill, just not the same as a well seasoned smoker, and all the grease dripping on the radiant was just a pita to clean.

little kid with a runny nose effect? Perhaps its a visual thing for me, every time I see those runny whites I see all my kids when they where toddlers with a cold, Meal done.

One of my favorite past times when my children were infants was to use the rubber bulb "booger sucker" to extract snot when they had runny nose from catching a cold LOL
