The spotting on the males really stands out, females dont usually get much of a "leopard print" look as they mature. That's a biggie. As stated above females don't usually have any spots on the gill plate either. Females are more yellowish and barred and have a different head shape. Male dorsal and anal fins are usually pointed, females round. Sometimes I also find males belly areas look more concave, and females are a little fatter.Out of curiosity how can you sex these Jags?
