Has anyone tried regeneration / cleaning Purigen with hydrogen peroxide? We are trying to eliminate bleach and other chemicals in our house. We have found that sodium percarbonate in most cases cleans as well, although not as quickly. Sodium percarbonate is basically dry H2O2. Also the same as Oxyclean without additives. I have been using it to clean my filter socks for about 6 months, and am happy with the results. I was going to clean about 20 liters this weekend and wondered if I was wasting my time. If you aren't familiar with it, give it a Google.
