I want to learn to do it. Looking at supplies now. I'm working on it... Long term it's the best move. Just need to figure it out. Who is the best to ship through? I don't really have a major airport real close.
SouthWest airlines is a common one I'm pretty sure. But other than that, I've had hardy shipments sent through the USPS but I wouldn't trust that for rays. You could always call the local airport and ask their opinion on best option, you never know what's available.

Southwest would be over an hour one way for me. I'm going to look around a bit. Too many people do it to make this some sort of an impossible feat. If you've never done it before though you need to get the proper equipment together and get some input. I may post a thread and get some info.

Yeah I have never done the airport to airport thing, with warm weather I have always just done UPS or FedEx I think once. For rays its can be more tricky for sure. I wish I knew people on here that could help because I see other threads of people shipping I just dont know how to help answer the questions. I have an LFS in town that chargers me a few bucks for supplies and sends my stuff out
Yeah I've received pretty regular shipments through USPS but never through an airline, which I would prefer for rays. Did your shipper use any chemical additives to their water before bagging up, or just their current tank water? Always wondered if sedated or chemcially induced more oxygen into the water?

I'm not sure about chemical additives, but likely not since home to home was only about 4 to 5 hours by plane and water was clear. I know he doesn't feed a day or 2 before, adds air to bag, includes a heat pouch if needed and ray comes packed in styrofoam within a cardboard box. The key is same day delivery. All arrived alive and healthy.
