I have a 5" fade female flowerhorn in a 15 gallon tank with a sponge filter and heater..i have some gravel in the tank i do weekly water change of 30%..she was scratching (flashing) on the gravel, tank walls and filter occasionally like once every 2-3 hours since past three weeks..yesterday her scratching and irritability had increased a lot..she was very healthy and eating well.. ..i did a mistake of adding methylene blue yesterday directly to the tank and found out that it kills good bacteria too..I did as suggested on another site that ammonia was may be too high duw to small tank.. so i did a tank flush yesterday to remove the medicine and i added a new internal power filter and hand full of gravel from pet shop for good bacteria, now i.e. today she has increased gill movement and completely clumped fins what should i do?
