when my tank broke out with its second case of ich a year and a half ago, my fh was about the only fish that wasnt affected.

That's the worst I've seen on a flowerhorn. Raise the temps to 86 degrees and add some salt as well. BTW your bumping a 9 year old thread

I think I might go more drastic with this case and use Kordon rid ich plus. http://www.kordon.com/kordon/produc...ives-and-treatments-2/rid-ich#compatabilities!

Salt is great for first signs of Ich and easier on the fish then harsh chemicals but that fish is on the edge of death. I would throw the salt and the chemicals at him, raise the temp to 86 and pray.
