What fishes has your rays killed?

the female was mine, I'm really surprised she killed anything.

She took out a 3.5" severum (he survived the first time, but not the second) and some geos that where about 3".

Depends on their sizes. My female hystrix is 12" now. Over the course of the past couple of years she has eaten tetras, severums, angels, and geos. The bigger the fish, the more likely they are to survive. I have a pair of 6" severums in the tank now that she doesn't bother. The catfish are fine as well. With tetras, the not-so-smart ones usually turn up missing soon after being introduced into the tank. Some if my black skirt tetras have been in there for a couple of years now. Obviously a small ray will be less likely to eat tank mates.

Thank you. Mine is a baby now but I was asking for long term success. Do you think I should be concerned when all fish are full grown?

I have 5 rays and a Black Arowana in my 300 gallon tank. I bought 7 Tiger striped Silver Dollars last week and my Henlei has eaten one every night for the last three nights.

My marble has dragged down a handfull of pbass, 8 geophagus red head tapajos (in 2 nights!) and my hybrid has tried but so far hasnt killed anything.

My Rays have killed a 28" clown knife with a barb into the jaw, a beautiful 14" 4 bar indo and a 16" endlicheri. I don't keep Rays anymore

Didn't kill the knife. I know that from the broken barbs. I'm not sure about the others. How's she doing anyway ?

We had a little scare a while ago (refused to eat for almost a week and a half) but other than that shes been great. Shes always the first to eat and I caught her breeding with my marble. Overall, I couldnt be happier with her.
