The last time I had an arowana long term was 8 years ago, it was a silver aro. I had it for about 8 years and it died at around 28". Last year I decided to get back into dragon keeping and got myself a baby black aro, but it didn't feel right so I sold it off. Then about a month ago, a friend of mine was selling his lei aro and you could call it 'love at first sight
.' I bought her (I can't sex aros well but my buddy told me its a she). I'm hoping to document her growth in this thread. She eats hikari food sticks, tilapia and anything else that can fit into her mouth lol. And she is in my growout (135 gallons) with 4 tigers, tiger scats, a pink tail chalceus, a couple of dats and silver dollars.
