I would like to know who makes the best air pump ? I am looking for something extremely quite. Powerful is good but I am just running one or two air stones. Fluval, Finnex, Alita, Cobalt Oxy-pro, or Danner??? I have a Terra Deep Water thats very loud and a battery back up category 5 that is load also. Please I would like all your suggestions.

What I've notice is just about any new air pump is quiet, but as they age that's when they get noisy. In my own experience I haven't found one yet(long term) but I don't buy the high dollar ones.

I have a 20$ thats super strong with dual outlets that I've been running for at least 8 years and it's very quite just like the day I got it. I do have other pumps from 8 years ago that are as loud as a car running LOL the diaphragm needs some work. I use it here and there when I need to put a fish in a bucket for couple hours for treatment and what not.

Okay found it its an elite 802. It says rated for 20 gallons but honestly I run it in my 200 gallon tank my 40 gallon tank and my 10 gallon tank with no issues. All from this pump. I have 4 lines going out of this teed off. It has very good flow in all my tanks or else I wouldn't be using it. I have adjustable flow valves so I get equal bubbles for my 200 gallon tank. Its not a few bubbles that come out its a very very good flow of bubbles. I am shocked to see it is rated for 20 gallons.

Seems like many places don't offer this and I don't even remember where I got it from lol
