I really like Repasy. It is the main thing I feed to my poly's and plecos, the only down side I find to it is that it doesn't float, and for some reason my cichlids never seemed to want to eat it.
Although the fact that my cichlids don't eat it makes it really easy to target feed my poly's with it.

I also like using Repashy foods, and my cichlids love them. After cooking, but while still viscous, I pour it on lava rock and let it cool. Then drop the lava rocks in the tank. For the rock grazing cichlids, it seems to illicit a normal feeding behavior. I was hoping to see if it would contribute to enlarging the lips on those species that show large lips in nature, but tend to lose them i aquariums, but I moved before there were any conclusive results. If I ever get Amphilophous labiatus, or something of that feeding type again, I would try the experiment again

On a semi-related note....does anybody know if Ted Judy is still making his Ted's Most Excellent gel food? We've used it with great success in the past, but don't see it on his website anymore. He does still sell the Repashy line of foods....which his food was/is derived from.
If one is into using gel foods, this is certainly the most economical way to go, and just like commercial gel foods, the largest portion of the mix (water) is free.
