Hmmm difficult to tell... clearly not as blue as my female so I think the suggestion is either a cross convict/HRP or a less blue form HRP from a different location. It's hard to find very blue specimens. I've seen many shops selling HRPs looking very grey blue with turquoise finage... Infact female Convicts can display turquoise in the finage anyway
The Females develope the coppery red markings on their sides (like Convicts) and all their fins are blue where as the male gets the red tail colouration....

Thank you for your response. Does it take time for the female to show that coppery red? From the pictures I posted could you tell the difference male or female?
