110k in loans. That's nuts. I know you're making good money but damn... That's a lot of money haha.

Thats nothing, the Canadians in my class are in the $200K+. Medical students are typically in the $250K+. Overall Im happy, give me 5-10 yrs and their gone if I start being more financially conservative.

I did a bit of traveling when I finished university in 04 I sent to Australia and Thailand it was amazing I'm so glad I did it because it may have been much only chance before retirement. There's no way I'd be able to afford to get over that side of the world for a long while I've got two kids loads of pets and a house to pay for , that's without saving for our wedding lol I suppose we could go somewhere exotic for our honeymoon though (I'm thinking amazon ;) )

So my advice would be if you see an opportunity to travel the world grab it tig phish you never know what's around the corner in life's challenges :)

110 k is nothing man. Actually its probably a good a good thing. Get you ready for paying a mortgage and all the other crap down the road.

After graduating, my buddy loaded his guitar, a loaf of bread and some PB&J in his car and headed west (from Ohio). Had absolutely no idea where he was going or how long he would be... Just went. Gone for maybe a month. Slept most nights in his car. He seen parts of the country he probably never would have otherwise. No agenda. Just go until you see something interesting. No map. Just follow whatever roads you want. No schedule and no responsibilities. Pretty cheap too (other than gas and more Wonder Bread!). Always wished I would have gone with him back then.

Mortgage sucks but its not something to complain about, if its a nice house in a good area just dont over extend yourself. Say you make 5k. Month dont get a house that got a 3k mortgage a month lol.

Taxes that the *****!!! Ince you start comaining about those you are no longer a young man !

oh no my friend, ask any pharmacist n they will complain bout taxes. For example a hospital pharmacist i no makes $95K, after taxes hes bringing home $60-65K. I will literally pay more in taxes when I become license, then what I make now as an intern. i thought obama was my boy and watching out for me
