it's really up to the fish. You can read their behavior rather easily, if you' think you are overcrowded, add more caves......2-3 per fish. That's how I do things......you can't even SEE the back of my tanks cuz i have so many caves, stacked on caves and more caves stacked on caves. Not enough caves around here. Some cichlids love caves and spend lots of time in themYou think 5. 10inch fish is to much for 135gallon
Lol well man ive got a flowerhorn, red devil, green terror, Texas cichlid, an a Oscar. Also have South American Pike.. There all under 5inch right now and so far getting along. How many of these big guys can i keep comfortably in my tankit's really up to the fish. You can read their behavior rather easily, if you' think you are overcrowded, add more caves......2-3 per fish. And yes they all get big... And i know maturity all hell's going to break loose but I plan on keeping the ones that do well with each otherit's really up to the fish. you can keep them all together as long as they don't get into deathmatches or you don't end up w/ poor water quality. If you feel you need a bigger tank, then get one lol If they fight, the Oscars always lose to the others you keep, but if he grows fast enough, he might be able to hold his own, also depends what sex the rest of the fish are, females are smaller, sometimes MUCH.And yes they all get big... I think the Devil or FH would be the worst you have, but Pikes are known killers too. Is your Texas a carpintis (Green) or cyannoguttatus (True)?
