Nice so might not be a good one to keep?not even close.Won't get any bigger than 6-8"
depends....you may want to wait and see if your FH and Devil get nuchal humps before you make any decisions. That male GT could own the whole tank, which wouldn't be a terrible thing. GTs are fair rulers and don't always live up to their names, Amphiliophids on the other hand are tyrants that rule with and iron fist - males AND females alike sometimes, however they would likely only be sub-dominant to the GT, as has been my experiences with housing those 3 together....in the instance of a male GT , and both female FHs and RDsNice so might not be a good one to keep?
I will rearrange and build more caves tomorrow . morning. The flowerhorn is kind of boss right now.. But even it dont mess with the pike. None of them do.. If the Devil (or FH) starts getting a hump, regardless of sex, the hormones kick-in and they kill everything - precisely where setting up lots of caves for quick escapes comes in. They also have a better chance of getting along starting as little guys because the caves will ease their minds and allow them to keep out of each others' sight , .....without being abe to do this, the hierarchy or the tank is typically set much sooner because all they do is see and harass and pick at each other all day and night.
well, I've heard stories of breeding pairs of Pikes eating their tankmates and killing the ones that are too large to swallow if they see them as a threat to their fryI will rearrange and build more caves tomorrow . morning.
