Hello guys I have a Synspillium from Jeff Rapps on the way any feeding tip or care information.and brand specific foods?what temps do you guys use?
Syns are easy, hardy fish, that don't really require any special care. Water should be in the upper 70s and NLS pellets are a sure bet for optimal nutrition. They tend to be fairly peaceful, but I have heard of some with a bit of aggression issues. They eat like pigs and grows fast.
+1. Their diet in the wild is more flora than fauna, so try not to go too heavy on animal proteinThey like a lot of fruits and veggies from time to time. Mango has been successful for me as well as zucchini.
Ok so I will do a bit of research on the native fruits Are they known to eat aquatic plants+1. Their diet in the wild is more flora than fauna, so try not to go too heavy on animal protein
